At Vu Jewellers we make jewellery to the highest standard using only ethically sourced, quality materials. Whether it’s a piece off the shelf or a bespoke commission we’re confident that with the right care you’ll enjoy wearing your jewellery for many years.
In the unlikely event of a workmanship defect, Vu Jewellers will repair your Vu jewellery free of charge for 12 months from date of purchase. We will be more than happy to fix items purchased more than 12 months ago for a small fee – please contact us to arrange this prior to returning your jewellery.
If damage has occurred to your jewellery somehow and it’s not a workmanship defect, don’t worry we will be able to repair/replace the item; this will however be done at the customers own expense.
Each item returned for repair will be assessed individually and we will contact you with options before proceeding with any work.
If you purchase jewellery from Vu Jewellers, whether for yourself or as a gift please be aware we are unable to refund the item unless the item is faulty. We are more than happy for you to exchange unwanted gifts for another item (if exchanged for a lower value item, the balance will given in the form of a credit note) or put the pre-paid amount towards a special commission piece. Please contact us or pop in store to arrange this.
If you would like to exchange an item this must be done within 30 days of the purchase date.
Only unworn jewellery in original condition and packaging will be accepted for exchange.
Sorry but no refunds or exchanges are available on bespoke commissions although the Vu Jewellers workmanship guarantee does still apply.

Send to Vu, 8A / 5 Hawthorne Drive, Frankton, 9300 (please do not write jewellers/jewellery anywhere on the packaging)
We recommend you get proof of postage; returned items are sent at the customers own risk and we wouldn’t want your jewellery to go missing.
All postage costs will be at the customers own expense.
Placing an Order
On confirming your order and purchasing jewellery from Vu Jewellers you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out on this page.
All jewellery from Vu is handmade using a wide variety of natural and synthetic materials; this means no two pieces of jewellery will be exactly the same – gemstones, colours, sizes and placements may vary slightly. We believe this makes the jewellery even more special.
All prices and postage costs on www.vujewellers.com / .co.nz are in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$) and are inclusive of GST. We have a large number of jewellery designs on the Vu Jewellers website, we try our best to make sure all pricing is accurate however in the case we’ve made a mistake and your ordered item is incorrectly priced, we will inform you in writing of this error and we will give you the option of continuing to purchase the product at the correct price or cancelling your order. We will not process your order until we have your instructions.
Please note that items sent outside New Zealand may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes. Any additional fees incurred are the responsibility of the customer. If you are unsure, we recommend that you contact the appropriate authorities prior to purchase.
In the rare event an item is lost during shipping we will endeavour to sort out a solution suitable for both parties
Bespoke Commissions/Custom made jewellery
For all jewellery commissions please allow 4-12 weeks for completion. Vu jewellers will contact you via email or phone to let you know when your jewellery is ready for collection/delivery. During the 4-12 week design process the in house jeweller will work with you to finalise the design of your custom piece, source materials, with the option to make a mock up in silver to confirm the jewellery size/design is exactly as you want it and then create the final piece. Sourcing quality materials and creating high quality jewellery takes time, please be patient. If you have a tight deadline please let us know, we can often get things done more speedily for special occasions.
A deposit will be required for all bespoke commissions. Deposits for bespoke commissions are non refundable once work has commenced.
