This Trilogy ring (aka Russian wedding ring) was a special commission for the lovely Doreen.
Because sizing these interlinked bands can be tricky, we began by making a silver model first to perfect the fit. Once everything was just right, we crafted the final piece in rose, yellow and white gold — three beautifully balanced bands, carefully shaped, polished and woven together by hand.

A timeless design, representing past, present and future, or two lives joined together as one.

✨ I had the privilege of visiting Lineage in Gore — an exhibition tracing the extraordinary jewellery legacy of Kobi Bosshard, his father and his grandfather.

I was lucky enough to meet Kobi himself and share a lovely conversation. He even complimented me on my Aurora cuff bangle and asked how I found my way into contemporary jewellery making — a moment I’ll truly treasure.

It was moving to see the thread of craft carried through three generations, each leaving their mark while honouring what came before. Kobi’s work has always stood as a cornerstone of New Zealand jewellery — honest, rigorous, and beautifully human.

This may well be his final exhibition, which made standing in that room even more poignant. A reminder that jewellery is never just adornment; it’s history, heritage, and the stories we carry forward.
